Robert Sissons is the First Team captain and the only ex-professional present at the club having previously played for Bolton Wanderers. Playing the holding role in front of the back four he constantly hounds the opposition when they came into his territory. He is a combative defensive midfielder, snappy in a tackle with a play it ‘simple and support’ passing ethos.
